Laura Juodakytė, LL.M.

Laura has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in law from Mykolas Romeris University and an international master’s degree LL. M. (Master of Laws) at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and has 15 years of legal experience in international companies and groups of companies active in trade, smart solutions and technology sectors. The attorney knows the fundamentals of German law and is familiar with German business culture.

Laura established a law firm in 2018 and currently provides specialised legal services in information technology, trade, retail and other sectors, advising and representing clients’ in state institutions and courts.

The main areas where the attorney specialises are commercial, contract, information technology law, privacy and data protection, labour and migration law, regulation and compliance, dispute resolution. Laura pays particular attention to non-standard, rare situations in which specific legal requirements need to be looked into and best solutions are provided.

As Laura has long term experience in business, her legal competencies are complemented by experience in projects and business processes management. Laura always takes into account the business environment in which the client operates as well.

The attorney has exclusive experience working as Data Protection Officer and Compliance Officer, which allows to provide the highest quality, professional services of an external data protection officer or compliance officer to the clients.

Laura has entrepreneurial thinking and interest in new technologies, other innovative areas and their implementation in business processes. Laura uses new technology tools and advanced legal methods in her professional activity.

Laura, together with colleagues, established the Lithuanian Association of Data Protection Officers in 2017 and was a member of the board.

Laura provides training, holds presentations at academic conferences.

If necessary, the attorney shall cooperate with foreign colleagues lawyers and shall have permanent partners in Latvia, Estonia and Germany.

Laura is a member of the Lithuanian Bar Association.
